Lodge Roof

Four-months throughout the summer of 2020 was dedicated to re-reroofing the main lodge.

A fascinating roof line complete with art-deco chimneys, intricate valleys and old construction. The main task was to lift the existing roof tiles and reline ready to house the new eight conversion dwellings below. During this time, we took the opportunity to rebuild feature dormer windows, instate Velux windows to some of the apartments and some additional roof lights to the townhouses.

We were really lucky to retain nearly almost all roof tiles allowing the roof line to remain original and sympathetic to the character of the main lodge.
